Creating a new 3D mesh structural model

The first step in the surface meshing workflow is to create a new, empty model. To do this

1. Click Create Model in the Surface Meshing workflow of the 3D Mesh strip (model > 3D Mesh > Create Model) to open the Create Model form.
2. From the 3D mesh structural model drop-down list, select Create new, and enter the name of the model underneath.
3. Click OK to create the model and proceed to the next step in defining the 3D mesh structural model, Assign Data (or click Apply to create the model and keep the form open).
